Brad Daviss began his appraisal career with Frost Valuations in 2003 after graduating from The University of Alberta in Business Law and Economics. He has completed his Post Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation from the University of British Columbia and has obtained his AACI, P. App Designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada. Experience thus far has included various assignments in mainly urban settings, ranging from single family dwellings to multi-family housing, office, industrial, retail, and investment properties. Brad’s career has focused around consulting and litigation support. Mr. Daviss is a current member of the Alberta Expropriation Association and has quantified damages and completed market value assignments for both municipalities and private owners on expropriation matters. He has also been declared an expert in Commercial Real Estate by the Court of Queens Bench. In addition, Brad has represented numerous clients before the Assessment Review Board and Municipal Government Board as an expert witness with respect to property tax assessment appeals. He has also represented clients before Arbitrators for lease rate disputes. Brad is a former University of Alberta Golden Bears Soccer Player and has represented Canada at two international competitions, including the Gold Cup. Brad currently resides in St. Albert with his wife and two children, where he is active in coaching and the community. In his spare time, Brad enjoys hunting and fishing.

Jim Robertson - CRA

Jim Robertson has been with Frost Valuations since 1991; prior to that he worked with another Edmonton-based appraisal firm with whom he began in 1987. Jim’s appraisal experience is extensive and includes valuations of a wide variety of property including single family dwellings, farms, residential acreages, four-plexes, condominiums, duplexes, unimproved sites, etc. Jim has been recognized as an expert witness by the Court of Queen’s Bench and has appeared before the Court on several occasions. Reports prepared by Mr. Robertson have been utilized and relied upon in broad spectrum of matters including divorce, foreclosure, expropriation, litigation, estate settlement, mortgage financing, taxation appeals, sale/purchase, etc. Jim has undertaken property valuation on behalf of some 35 legal firms, is an approved appraiser for a number of lending institutions, and has completed assignments for local, national and international clients. His objective and impartial market value estimations provide assistance to those who own, manage, invest or finance on the security of real estate. Jim’s real estate education includes graduation from Lakeland College (with a major in Real Estate Appraisal and Assessment) and a Real Estate Certificate granted by the University of Alberta; he received the CRA designation, conferred by the Appraisal Institute of Canada, in 1994.

Trevor Frost - B.A., CRA

Trevor Frost has been with Frost Valuations since July 2006 dealing with all forms of residential appraisals, specializing in rural, acreage and recreational properties. He earned his CRA designation in July 2011 and is now working towards his AACI designation. Trevor has always been active in various sports and played hockey with the Notre Dame Hounds, Estevan Bruins (SJHL) and 4 years of ACAC college hockey. Trevor and his wife Joylene enjoy traveling, spending time at the lake and playing football.

Carlee Leliuk - B.Comm, DAR

After graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Alberta in 2006, Carlee began her appraisal career in 2008.  Carlee has obtained both the DAR (Designated Appraiser Residential) and Certified Appraisal Reviewer designations.  She is also a past member of the RECA Appraisal Advisory Committee and has completed her Assessment Review Board training.  Carlee (along with her husband) currently manage and operate their 11,000 acre family grain farm, just outside of Mundare, AB.  With a very strong foundation and understanding of Agriculture, Carlee specializes in rural and agricultural appraisals throughout northern and central Alberta.  Carlee also has an extensive background appraising single family residential, recreational, executive and acreage properties.  More recently, Carlee has extended her passion for appraising, undertaking various industrial, multi-family and commercial assignments.   Carlee has been married to her husband, Justin, for 13 years with three children.  In her spare time, Carlee enjoys travelling, coaching her children’s various sports teams, playing hockey and slo-pitch, as well as spending time with her family at the lake.

Carlee has recently enrolled in the Post Graduate Certificate (in Real Estate Valuation) Program at the University of British Columbia, Sauder School of Business.

Grant graduated from Trinity Western University with a BA in 1991.  In 1995, he entered the residential appraisal field.  In 2004, Grant became a Principal with Frost Valuations and holds the designation of Canadian Residential Appraiser (CRA). Grant’s area of expertise is in evaluation of single family dwellings, condominiums, acreages, new construction, mobile homes, duplexes, and other residential properties. Grant also holds the designation of Canadian Personal Property Appraiser (CPPA) used in the valuing of machinery and equipment and business assets.  Equipment valuations range from restaurants to laundromats, household items to excavators, daycares to machine shops.  Grant provides equipment valuation services across western Canada.  Grant’s appraisals and equipment valuations are provided for financing, litigation, estates, foreclosures, insurance and relocations.

Grant and his wife have three active boys and as they have surpassed his coaching skills he is now able to spend his free time playing hockey, hunting, snowmobiling or at the lake.  Grant is a longtime supporter of Kids Kottage, a crisis care nursery in Edmonton, as well as The Mustard Seed and Compassion Canada – two local charities that provide support for Edmonton’s neediest residents, impoverished children.

Vincent Gervais - B.Comm, CBV

Vincent has valued small, mid-sized, and large private businesses, as well as provided damage quantifications and Guideline Income calculations for Alberta and Saskatchewan since 2008. Vincent worked with MNP in Saskatchewan and Alberta, and later co-founded a business valuations company. He has carried out business valuation engagements for sale of business, purchase, tax planning, partnership buyouts, shareholder compensation, employee buy-ins, matrimonial division of property, and for litigation purposes. He has quantified damages for purposes of business interruption, loss of business, contract dispute, and excess or additional expenses.  He has also been declared an expert in Business Valuations and Guideline Income Calculation by the Court of Queens Bench.

In 2006, Mr. Gervais received his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan with majors in accounting and finance, he went on to obtain his Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designation in 2011. In addition to his business valuation practice, he is owner/landlord of several single and multi-tenant residential properties.

Outside of work Vincent is an avid runner, and self acclaimed and proclaimed aficionado of classic literature and cigars. He has been involved with the Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce Business Development Group, the Edmonton Executives Association, and the Edmonton Business Social Networking group. Vince provides Business Valuation Services in Edmonton, Alberta, and Saskatchewan.

Douglas Slavik - B.A., AACI, P. App

After graduating from University of Alberta with a BA in 1992, Doug began his real estate appraisal career as a residential appraiser. In 1995, Doug started appraising commercial real estate. Since joining the firm of Frost Valuations in 2001, he has been actively involved in valuing commercial real estate as a fee appraiser. In 2002, Doug obtained the AACI and P. App designations, and in 2004 became a principal at Frost Valuations.  As a fee appraiser, Doug has completed reports for mortgage financing, feasibility analysis, litigation support, sales/purchase, and insurance purposes. Over the years, he has been involved in appraising various types of commercial properties including accommodation properties, churches, schools, retail complexes, multi-family apartments, office buildings, industrial warehouses, land subdivisions, car dealerships and various other types of investment properties. Doug has appeared before the Assessment Review Board, as well as the Court of Queen’s Bench as an expert witness. In his spare time, Doug enjoys family time with his wife and two boys. Other interests include travelling and spending time outdoors camping, skiing, and off road exploration.

Patty Felske - CRA

Patty became a candidate member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada in the spring of 2004 and entered into the Real Estate Appraisal field that same year with a local appraisal firm. Patty joined Frost Valuations  in 2006 and continued working towards her CRA (Canadian Residential Appraiser) designation which she received in 2009. Patty has extensive experience in all types of residential appraisals including single family dwellings, condominiums, acreages, recreational properties, duplexes, and new home construction. Although Patty is adept at appraising all properties located within the greater Edmonton area, she specializes in properties located in the west end Edmonton, St. Albert and all rural and urban areas located west of the of City of Edmonton. Patty has lived in Parkland County for over 20 years and is married with three sons. She is actively involved as a volunteer in minor hockey and with the St. Albert Kinnetts Club, whose primary function is the Christmas Hamper program that provides food and gifts to less fortunate families in the St. Albert area.

Chad graduated from Grant MacEwan University in 2010, with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree Majoring in Management. He began working with Frost Valuations in 2011. After completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation in 2018, Chad obtained his AACI, P.App designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada in 2021.

Chad’s expertise began in the evaluation of single family dwellings, condominiums, acreages, new construction, mobile homes, duplexes, and other residential properties. More recently, he has branched out focusing on commercial properties and mix use properties including many property types in rural areas.

Chad is an avid outdoorsman and a member of the Lamont Fish and Game Association. He also enjoys playing golf and slow pitch in his free time.

Mark graduated from the University of Alberta in 2012, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He began working at Frost Valuations  in the same year Mark is currently enrolled in the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia, working towards completion of his AACI designation. He has focused mainly on commercial and industrial property appraisals, while also preparing and contributing to market research reports. Prior to the commencement of his appraisal career, Mark owned and operated a catering business and was the manager of Spartans F.C. soccer club in Edmonton. Outside of work, Mark’s interests include, travelling, golfing, and playing hockey.

Matthew Sandler completed his Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Alberta in 2021 with a major in Finance and minor in Marketing. After completing his degree, he began his career as a Residential Property Appraiser with Frost Valuations Inc., in September of 2021. Currently Matthew continues his education as a Candidate Member with the Appraisal Institute of Canada as he pursues his Canadian Residential Appraiser (CRA) designation. Matthew continues to remain active by playing recreational hockey in the winter months and is an avid golfer in the summer months. Other interest includes travelling, camping and spending time with family.

Liam graduated from MacEwan University in December 2020, with a Bachelor of Commerce degree specializing in Accounting and Finance. In 2021, Liam joined Frost Valuations as a Valuation Analyst, conducting research and analysis for Business Valuations and Commercial Real Estate Appraisals. He is currently pursuing the Chartered Business Valuator (CBV), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and AACI designations, and is a Candidate Member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada. Prior to joining Frost Valuations, Liam helped operate a family-owned apparel and promotional products business, while earning his commerce degree.

Brandy joined Frost Valuations in July 2007, as the Administrative Assistant.  Duties as Front Desk Coordinator include the front phone switchboard and main email coordination, assigning residential files, processing orders, appraisal reports and invoices. Other duties include updating clients, as well as, assisting the office manager and appraisers. Brandy is the director of first impressions and often the first contact in person, by email or by telephone. One of her favorite hobbies is Photography.

Lillian holds a degree as a legal assistant with 25 year’s experience in the field. She joined Frost Valuations in 2004 as a commercial typist. The flexibility provided by the firm allows Lillian to juggle a busy career as well as her volunteer activities. Working with animals over the years has been, and continues to be, a labor of love. After adopting a special needs dog, she began to study and research the challenges facing rescue organizations and in 2014 founded a non-profit animal rescue support network in his memory. Lillian has been guardian to many pets and currently shares her home with her husband,  rescue dogs and parrot.

Lindy is involved in all areas at Frost, and spends most of her time working within Business Valuations.  Her roles as an analyst including data entry, economic research, and report formatting.

Outside of work she spends most of her time hanging out her family and puppies, as well as watching sports.

Allison graduated from the Canadian College of Performing Arts in 2007 with a background in theatre arts and has performed on many stages across Canada and the United States. She continued her studies at the University of Alberta graduating in 2015 with a Bachelor of Education Degree. She taught secondary education for Edmonton Public Schools. Allison is currently enrolled in the Sauder School of Business through the University of British Columbia, pursuing her CRA designation. She began her appraisal career with Frost Valuations in 2016. Outside the office, Allison teaches dance at a competitive studio in Edmonton. She is also a freelance choreographer. In her spare time, Allison enjoys singing, yoga and spending quality time with her family and friends.
